Job Title : Logistics Specialist
Location : Chickasaw , AL -36611
Duration : 6 Months
Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

The manager is looking for candidate with strong experience with arranging shipments domestic/international vs warehouse experience.

Introduction

This role supports international shipments and export compliance in a dynamic and fast-paced logistics environment. The ideal candidate will have foundational logistics, shipping, or supply chain experience and be capable of working effectively with multiple stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with various transportation modes: Ocean (LCL, FCL), Air, Road, Rail, and Special equipment shipments
• Knowledge of hazardous materials shipping compliance: IATA, IMDG, DOT, U.S. export regulations
• Proficiency in preparing international shipping documents: Commercial/customs invoices, Packing lists, Certificates of Origin, Free Trade Agreement documentation, Bills of Lading, Certificates of Analysis
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work with urgency
• 0-2 years of related experience
• Associate degree or equivalent preferred
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Prior work experience at client or in client's industry
• Comfortable presenting to senior leadership
• Strong decision-making skills in uncertain situations

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Analyze and develop logistics plans affecting production, distribution, and inventory
• Create and review distribution and inventory management procedures
• Maximize customer satisfaction while minimizing costs
• Coordinate shipments and support global logistics operations
• Ensure regulatory compliance for international transportation
